Originate from pain and desire to learn
During the Covid-19 lockdown, the founder of CSE Global - as an office worker - began searching for language exchange partners on online platforms. However, she continuously encountered scammers, and even a friend lost a large sum of money to this type of fraud. Recognizing the absence of a safe, transparent learning and connection environment, she was determined to establish CSE - Cultures & Skills Exchange, a community for exchanging cultures and skills oriented towards sustainable development, human-centered and valuing authenticity.

Spread idea at Hanoi University - the starting point
When sharing the idea with Hanoi University students, the founder of CSE Global received strong support from the young community. Within just a few days, thousands of members registered to participate, many young volunteers contributed, laying the foundation for Vietnam's first "exchange strengths - learn from each other" model.

Gather the first generation of Board of Management
These passionate volunteers quickly gathered to become the CSE Board of Management, together building a systematic learning process and community development.

Organize CSE Gathering Day 1 - Global connection
CSE's first online event attracted international guests, bringing fresh learning inspiration. Exchange activities and language exchanges were organized on the Gather Town platform, creating a vibrant interactive space.

Become a familiar destination for learning enthusiasts
CSE gradually became a "common home" for people passionate about foreign languages, culture and personal development - where everyone can learn and grow together.

Develop the StudyBud connection platform serving the community
Despite rapid development, CSE's 1-1 model faced many operational difficulties, requiring technology application to scale up. The CSE Board of Management and young startup team developed the StudyBud platform, participating in many startup competitions and achieving encouraging results.

Recruit the second-generation Board of Management
The organization gradually professionalized with a new generation Board of Management and expanded community activities.

Celebrate CSE's first Anniversary
A special milestone was the first anniversary event - where the Founder emotionally shared the journey starting from zero.

Initiate online event series "Dock in China"
Many cultural-linguistic exchange programs were organized, such as a series of 06 sharing sessions about China with participation from lecturers, entrepreneurs, researchers; or a Vietnamese-Chinese language pairing program with Hosts' support.

Launch StudiEx platform - Digital platform version 2
Following that success, CSE developed the StudiEx (Study Exchange) platform version - an improvement of StudyBud (first version), participating in international competitions to perfect the product.

Celebrate the second Anniversary with "Dock in Vietnam" theme - 2nd anniversary celebration
A unique cultural event at a colonial villa on Chau Long street (Hanoi) combining Xam music, arts, cuisine and international exchange, embodying the spirit of "From Local to Global" on the occasion of the Community's second Anniversary.

Connect with cultural preservation organizations
CSE promotes cooperation with cultural organizations at home country and abroad to spread the philosophy of "From Local to Global", participating in cultural heritage preservation and experience projects locally and globally.

Accompany students to support language learning and foster community spirit
CSE members also support many secondary and high schools in improving foreign language skills and community learning spirit.

Currently, the CSE Board of Management is present in more than 10 countries, each place has local representatives to organize activities and connect local communities.

Develop CSE Global platform - Version 3
After two trials, the team redefined the core values: connect and develop Global Citizens, restarting the official product named CSE Global.

Implement the TALE international cooperation project
The TALE (Technology, Arts, Languages, Empathy) project - an initiative for the young global citizen generation - was implemented in Vietnam and Africa, won the Champion Award at GUC 2024 by JCI Thang Long as a result of the efforts of the international Board of Management and Community members.

Achieve Top 32 Human Act Prize national award
CSE Global was also honored in the Top 32 nationwide community projects, exhibited at the Temple of Literature - Hanoi and appeared on many press and television channels.

Remark CSE Global's third Anniversary
The celebration of the Community's 3rd anniversary milestone had the participation of domestic and international members, along with representatives of the platform development team - filmed by Nhan Dan TV.

Establish GreatMinds legal entity
With a founding team possessing over 20 years of experience in business, technology and operations, CSE officially established the legal entity GreatMinds - the operating unit of CSE Global.

The organization continues to expand its influence through events such as Halal Potentials for Youths, Road to Global Stage, etc., along with international exchange sessions connecting global youths.

Monthly, CSE recruits and trains community Hosts - the "core" spreading community values and on the journey to become Global Citizen Ambassadors.

An event to connect members, introduce the Host team, exchange cultural experiences, and enjoy Vietnamese music and performances, as well as meet international speakers sharing insights on global citizenship.

CSE cooperates with partners to organize online and practical career experience programs (Business - Entrepreneurship, Education, HR, F&B...) to help members shape their future path.

CSE cooperates with the Vai Vun project to bring environmental protection and children's education activities to the North, nurturing the spirit of global citizenship from early childhood.
